Jan 15th: The clubs first online presence is created with the Peterborough Wargames Club yahoo group (now defunct).
Feb?? : We won best overall game at Hammerhead in Newark for the first time with a 60s B-movie inspired game. Can the US Paratroopers rescue the scientist and his daughter from mutant giant scorpions before the A-bomb destroys the area.
Moved venue to the Royal Oak Pub.
2007
Feb?? : We won best overall game again at Hammerhead in Newark
2008
Feb 5th : We won best overall game again at Hammerhead in Newark for the third year running, with the organisers threatening to rename the shield “the Peterborough wargamer’s award”!
Feb 9th : Club website launched http://www.peterborough-wargames-club.org.uk/.
Mar 3rd : Moved Venue to Peterborough Museum.

We took our “Dead’s Army”, Walmington on Sea Home Guard verses Nazi Zombies.
Imperator! – WAB Campaign Day. 13 players, both local and from further afield, taking part in a Roman Civil War campaign and a charity dice-off that raised £51 (+ gift aid) for Battlegames’ Combat Stress appeal.
