Title: Tuesdays (Wednesdays) at the Mill
Post by: Mike Whitaker on July 25, 2019, 10:37:59 am
Wednesdays at the Mill will more to Tuesdays after Weds 6 April 2022, 7.30pm - 9.30pm-ish

For those who missed out, forget or weren't around 18 months ago - this is a regular hobby hang out chez moi in Werrington, to build/paint scenery/models etc. Sometimes we're working up to an upcoming show game, sometimes we're repairing stuff, sometimes it's bring your own/pick stuff from my/the clubs unassembled MDF pile and paint, glue and natter. Tools, glue, brushes and paints supplied, also tea, coffee and occasionally home baking.

Upper limit for now of 5 people + me. It's a decent sized, air-conditioned/heated hobby room with plenty of space.

May Dates: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 (all Tuesdays)

Projects pending:

- table, scenery, buildings for Chef Du Pont IABSM game.
- there's a box of 28mm WW2 buildings from (IIRC) a 4Ground sale that belong to the club and need assembling and painting to lose the 'all our buildings were made by 4Ground' look
- DanR's very large tanker, eventually....
- The Cube [tm] Salute postponed for another year!

Directions here - http://www.peterborough-wargames-club.org.uk/forums/index.php?topic=1873.0 - Usual parking rules apply.

Roof was patched by a very efficient local chappie. Some bits of interior plasterboard could do with replacing at some point, but the roof patch means it shouldn't be seeing any more unwanted water from above.

Anyone coming who hasn't been recently - I'm doing a supervised COVID test at 7:20 tonight, but the usual suspects know how to get in :D (and the security cameras will be watching)

or in my alternative world:
The insecurity cameras will watch if they don't feel too pressured or not if there's anything scary happening.

I dunno, but I wonder what TSA made of X-raying the case... :D

(it's a nearly monolithic 20" x 15" x 8" or so block of some uniform, I assume mostly opaque, layered material...)
