Carl is correct -heroes come out of your 36 pts and are permanently attached to the unit they start with. If they are killed in action then they are lost and don't come back. New heroes gained in the game are attached to the unit that got them.

Just a reminder - lists in by the 1st Oct please.... so before I get to see any royalist lists here's mine:
Scots Field Army - Must Have - elite trotters[6] vet shot[6] vet shot[6] pike [4]  reserve lancers
Could Have - cmd shot [2] cmd shot [2] clansmen with hero [4].
At the moment confirmed sides are:
King: Andrew R  Mike  Carl  Martin  Ash  Pippa [Lord General]
Parliament : Grahame Timothy Tony  Andy Mellor  Tom   Andy Miller [Lord General]
I have selected appropriate officer traits to be drawn from a feathered hat rather than random dicing like we did before at the start of 1644.There will be be no officer challenges in games or special orders - although some of these may be set by me as part of game scenarios. Promotion will follow the same scheme as in 1644.

Grahame,
Earith fort (or parts there of) is available for use in the campaign if required. It is modular to an extent.

Hi Grahame,

I'm sorry to disappoint at such short notice but I'm not able to take part in this year's campaign. I have a lot going on already and don't want to over-commit.

On the plus side, it means I have a painted Pikeman's Lament army ready to go should anyone else want to join in.

Apologies again,
Colin

I have a garrison army, so I will sit in it. Thanks Andy!

BTW I also have a 28mm star fort but about 1/4 the size of Andy's monster (ooh, er, missus).

I too have a sconce, two halves, can be split or combined, plus a gun emplacement/platform. Sure the Eastern Association will need them!

Sounds like the Royalist are bringing out the defences for 1645!

I can throw in some palisaded embankments if the Royalists get really paranoid :D

Classic common sense you mean. Feel free to run about in the open Parliament!
