If you are reading the main rulebook be aware that the number of fire arcs were changed in Fleetbook One from 4 to 6.
The only house rule I'm using is that all firing counts as simultaneous, normally ships would fire in turn alternating between sides. This is fine for a 1 on 1 game but slows things down too much in a multiplayer.
What we got wrong:
You test for critical damage when you reach the last box on each row of the damage track. The marked boxes, that we thought were for critical damage, are actually to show crew losses.
