Hi all,

In response to Reuben's query.

The current leader boards are as follows. Note this is before anyone has spent any of the Reputation points gained in Round 1. (I don't think it's fair to lower anyone's position before the next game.) I'll recalculate the leader boards ready for Round 3 (based on spent points and any new Reputation gained this week).

Tom G, the Grahams, 49
Tom B, the Fenwicks, 45
Carl, Armstrongs of Kinmont 44
Pippa, the Grays, 42
Andy M, the Dodds, 38
Reuben, the Turners, 22
Grahame, the Law!, 19
Chris, the Broken Men, 17
Ash, the Burns, 11
Mike, the Sinclairs, 10

I'm not sure how best to approach the second round. I believe Mike suggested playing "Top vs. Bottom" a couple of weeks ago. Following that suggestion, the games would be:

Tom G vs. Mike
Tom B vs. Ash
Carl vs. Chris
Pippa vs. Grahame
Andy M vs. Reuben

I believe Andy M is unavailable this week and Chris may also be absent. If so, we may need to mix up these pairings a bit. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be happy to be flexible for this round and later.

Regards,
Colin

What I suggested was take your position in the table, add a d6, ties re-roll, highest picks first.

Ah. It was a fortnight ago you mentioned this and I left last Monday with a headful of IABSM  Grin We'll sort the pairs out on Monday night.

Sorry for the confusion.

Top 2 play each other and so on might work quite well, then in theory everyone is playing against some one who is at a similar level to themselves. Having just built my army for tonight and realised how big a difference those extra points make, it could get quite unfair if someone who's spent more points on army was playing someone who had only enough points to buy back what they'd lost previous week. I know in theory we could all save points and not spend but I suspect quite a few of us will go for improving our family  Smiley
Just my opinion!

Chris,
I believe we both missed last week and were drawn against one another. Are you free on 21st Aug for our game?

Update on tonights game:
@Chris, you have 6 extra reputation points for the hits you did on me and 4 more for the guys who survived (injured) = extra 10.

Result : Andy (attacking) destroyed the warrant. Reputation gained = 5 (objective)+ 10 (victory)+ 7 (survive) + 21 (hits) = 42
Chris, Reputation gained = 5 (defiant remark) + 6 (survive) + 6 (hits) = 17

@Colin, My overall reputation is 10, after spending all of last times and most of this ones gained rep.

Andy

Hi All,

Here is the leader board as it stands, ready for Monday 11th September:

1) Carl, Armstrongs, 82
2) Tom G, Grahams, 77
3) Reuben, Turners, 58
4) Tom B, Fenwicks, 50
5) Pippa, Grays, 44
6) Chris, Broken Men, 34
7=) Mike, Sinclairs, 31
7=) Grahame, The Law, 31
9) Ash, Burns, 16
10) Andy M, Dodds, 10 (lots of points spent here Smiley

I think these points are right. Please let me know if I've got anything wildly wrong or if you'd like some help spending some or all of these points. Remember the Underdog rule applies if any side is severely out-pointed.

I'll be posting the scenario (an escort/ambush mission) later on.

Thanks for joining in with this campaign.

Hi All,

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it tonight (16th Oct). I've been feeling grotty over the weekend and am still not up to scratch.

Really sorry for the short notice but I've only just got up   Cry

Hi All,

Sorry about postponing the October game. Short of catching Ebola  Shocked , I'll be there on Monday

Near as I can make out, after the September game (The Ambush), here is the leader board so far:

Carl, Armstrongs, 125
Tom G, Grahams, 101
Reuben, Turners, 83
Grahame, The Law, 73
Andy M, Dodds, 71
Pippa, Grays, 70
Chris, Broken Men, 68
Tom B, Fenwicks, 61
Mike, Sinclairs, 27 ?
Ash, Burns, 23

The only points I can't find are for Mike and Ash. Did either or both of you play the ambush mission? If you did, and can remember your points, please let me know and I'll update the list ready for Monday.

Thanks,
Colin
